The Malta Poker Championships by Pokio was held in May earlier this year. The attendance went through the roof and the players and organizers were nothing but satisfied all through the festival. Here’s the results and our review of MPC 2020.
The guaranteed prize pool of €30,000 in the Main Event got smashed with ease and saw a total sum of €64,200 in total (a whooping €34,200 extra). First place gave the lucky winner €15,729 in cash and was over 100x the initial buy-in of €150+0.
The official live poker database “The Hendon Mob” also attended the festival with a dedicated event. The €10,000 GTD stopped at €12,600 and saw, among others, poker pro Andreas Høivold and MPC-organizer Ivonne Montealegre having €50 bounties on their heads.
Here’s results and winners from some of the different events of MPC 2020.

The MPC 2020 will get five stars from us at PokioApp.com. The organizers had a short time to prepare but, nevertheless, the festival held high class through and through. We’re looking forward to future collaborations with Malta Poker Festival and Pokio.
